Stainless steel material introduction

Stainless steel is a versatile material that offers durability, corrosion resistance, and beauty,  making it a popular choice for a variety of outdoor street furniture, such as outdoor trash cans, park benches,  and picnic tables.

There are different types of stainless steel, including 201, 304 and 316 stainless steel,  each with its own unique properties and uses. For outdoor trash cans,  stainless steel is an ideal material choice because of its corrosion-resistant properties.

Taking 201 stainless steel as an example, in order to further enhance its corrosion resistance,  it is common to spray plastic on the surface. This plastic coating provides extra protection against outdoor  elements, ensuring the bin's longevity and preventing rust and corrosion.

On the other hand, 304 stainless steel is the high-quality metal material usually preferred for outdoor furniture due to its excellent corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance and durability.     It can withstand harsh environmental conditions, including high temperature,  high pressure and corrosive acid and alkali environments. The surface of 304 stainless steel can be treated in a  variety of ways to enhance its appearance and functionality. For example,a brushed finish creates a textured surface, while a spray-on finish allows for color customization and a choice of gloss or matte finishes.Mirror finishing involves polishing a surface to achieve a reflective effect,  although this technique is best suited for products with simple shapes and limited weld points.     In addition, there are colored stainless steel options, such as titanium and rose gold,  that can provide a unique aesthetic without affecting the inherent brushed or mirror effect of stainless steel. The price of 304 stainless steel will fluctuate due to market supply and demand, raw material costs,  production capacity and other factors. However, when budget allows,it is often the preferred metal material for customization due to its superior corrosion resistance and durability  compared to galvanized steel and 201 stainless steel.

316 stainless steel is considered a high-end material and is often used in food-grade or medical-grade applications. It has excellent anti-corrosion properties and can resist seawater erosion. It is suitable for use in extreme climate conditions such as seaside, desert, and ship environments. While 316 stainless steel may be more expensive, its durability and corrosion resistance make it an excellent choice for outdoor furniture in such demanding environments. When it comes to outdoor furniture customization, options in size, material, color and logo can all be customized to suit individual preferences and requirements.Whether it's an outdoor trash  can, a park bench or a picnic table, stainless steel offers a range of benefits that ensure longevity,  corrosion resistance and great appearance for years to come.
